TCS-Band distribution fairness
I work for one of the tcs clients from the BFSI unit. I got almost a 4.5 rating on my yearly review. But when I got the band it was a B band. Is this a fair band based on the rating? Can anyone suggest this, thanks in advance
Rating is not linked to band I have been a tech lead for 2 years now I have 5 people team below me
I got a call from my manager regardless of my Rating given to my teams
What band should we give them, C chalega
Then I have to fight with them nahi he deserve A
Na A ka budget nahi he
B is given to 3 people so ek ko C Dena hi padega
HR are idiots, fill continuous appraisal last date this that all is bullshit
What you will get is decided by some lottery

@HighTeapot I have maintained 100% WFO compliance and my IPF rating is 4.27, but I was still given a C band. I also have a good rapport with my manager. Could you help me understand where I might have gone wrong. Last November promoted from C2 to C3A, does my promotion affect my band. 2 people in my project.
