TCS asking me to work without salary

Hi Guys,

I am on bench for last 3 months and haven’t reported to RMG from last 1 month because I was on leave. Also I rejected some project based on my requirement. TCS HR mailed me and asked to join any project and I replied him back that I am ready to join the project but I am not getting call from RMG or not getting call from projects. TCS deducted my one month salary and also stopped my all access. I do not have access for ultimatix. I don’t have access to search the project internally. So I decided to resign. When I had conversation with HR on my resignation, he is asking me to repay the 3 months amount to TCS or join any project and work for 3 months without salary and then resign.

Any suggestion…?

Go for lawyer or take legal advice..! Else there is software engineer union, consult them

This will not work bro, you should go office and connect with RMG.. if you do this every day then after a few days they will assign you a project .

In your case email will not work I believe . Hopping for best

It also happened with one of the associates... He was asked to repay the 4 months salary that he didn't came to office and was on bench... He told the RMG and HR to STFU.. I dont have any money to pay... They told him that so for the next 4 months your salary will not come.. He then replied than I will not work without money. Its your fault that u dont have enough project in this location LMAO..😂😂 Received email that your last working day would be day after tomorrow..

Did he get all the official documents like salary slip, relieving and experience letter ?

@CornyKetchup Yes.. and got a link to register in alumni portal as well...You yourself have to download salary slip and all... they usually give relieving letter and other documents in your personal email after final settlement in a week.

Bro, Don't Resign from your end. You better try to search for Projects from Knowme(Ultimatix) related to your Skillset and accept any Project, even if it is a Testing Project. Clear the Interview and get the Allocation.

Then, All your Problems will be solved.

I don’t have access for ultimatix so I can’t search the project. I don’t have access for outlook and teams too. I send mail through my gmail ID.

Go to RMG and request them to activate Ultimatix nd Outlook. Ask them to arrange for some calls and tell them that you will accept the Project within a week's time. It may work out...

Resignation is in a mail there is no portal needed for it so resign and then fight for your salary otherwise don’t work

Ask HR to send this via and email ask them about the policy they are referring to when they ask you to work without a salary. Also ask them if they will do the same when they face an issue like this will they work without salary.

You should have picked ANY project as HR see people on bench are incapable to get aligned with technical projets. And also salary is supposed to come from the project (WON) for the candidates. Its difficult for people on SWON while you stayed on bench for long time. HR is un-empathetic every where.
