TCS- TOXIC CULTURE SYSTEM

  • TCS has not provided reasons for significant pay cuts.
  • CEO Krithivasan earned over 25 crore in just 10 months.
  • Air India staff took mass sick leave, resulting in 25 employee terminations.
  • Company's Q4 results show a profit of 12000 crore year-on-year.
  • Pay cuts persist despite successful client deliverables.
  • TCS requires all employees to work in-office daily, contrary to global remote work trends.
  • Managers are dishonest and fail to address employees' concerns.
  • Client deliverables are met on time, despite pay cuts affecting innocent employees.
  • HR department is unresponsive to inquiries via chats and emails.
  • Threatening across the board.

I think major issue is RTO, and my demands if TCS genuinely want to implement it are:

  • If someone has genuine reasons for WFH, TCS should allow for some time according to the situation.
  • if associates are asked for WFO, either ask them to work and transfer to the ODC where whole offshore team is there including manager. Otherwise HR RMG should make sure that associates get the projects which have ODC in depute location.
  • start following full WFO ie, Work at office, no work at home, if urgent work after working hours, ask us to come to office and work and pay us overtime.
  • for the projects where team is scattered across india, and very difficult to get majority of associates work from common office location, we must get WFO exceptions for those projects

What do you think?

But they want you to WFO without a allocated seat and LAN infrastructure or port enabled

There could be few reasons, like maybe that office is not your depute location, if it is depute location, probably they don't have dedicated project ODC there, or maybe some other reason. But in any case, it is a valid reason to not work from office, we can share this concern with HR and manager and ask for point of contact to get a permanent seat for yourself.

Hybrid is the best. 2-3 days office, rest home. Tmhra culture bhi sudhar jayega, hamare concerns bhi shaant ho jainge.

But, there is some political pressure as well on leadership.

Full on corporate baazi.

They don’t have the will and vision if buildings are the issue they can turn them easily into commercial spaces like malls ! They won’t loose ownership, gets rents and may be have smaller units to let employees come to office gather in for meetings or client visits. All they need is intention and willingness to listen to employees concerns

Don’t know what is cooking inside TCS , seriously disgusting, at least if they are not giving decent hike , but they can follow global wfh 2 days protocol. Do

What a strategic shady gross move by an organisation of this calibre - make RTO mandatory , then 9 hours mandatory and then it will be “You can use the restroom only once else we’ll fire you!!”. This guys are capable you know.

It is not fair to do pay cuts, just due some recent policies not being followed, while the employees' performance is good
