Trending @Infosys; TCS lay offs —
There’s so much news about recent TCS layoff of 20k employees but I am yet to see anyone around who actually got affected . Usually when some lay offs comes next day immediately you will find people posting on LinkedIn asking for referrals whoever got impacted but I am yet to come across anyone who got laid off from TCS . Do you know anyone got laid off from TCS ?
Sir this is India and not US, and they are being laid off from TCS nit Facebook’s or Google that they would announce publically and people swarm to get them u to their company. Culturally we are yet to reach the maturity where a layoff is seen as a business decision and not a performance based decision. But the layoffs in TCs is mostly performance driven. These mid to senior level people who were paid high but could not contribute enough for revenue generation. Same things is happening infy slowly but surely i know few Jl6 being laid off. They didn’t a ounce publically , but when you see no update (new company) in linked in even after 3 montsb of last date you know what has happened. And their lwd came un announced all of sudden
