TC$ Employees Are Lost! And It's Not Their Fault!
This platform has turned into a loop of the same questions being asked over and over. While it's understandable that people seek clarity, it also reflects a deeper issue, employees aren't getting basic information from the organization.
Instead of relying on scattered responses, the company should ensure proper communication so employees don’t have to depend on posts here for essential details.

If you leave ipf or appraisal query rest of the question asked by these guys are very well explained in policy documents in hr section....
Problem is no one want to read that documents and even if they read it they want to break the policy and find a loophole....
We indian always try to go around policy and find the loop holes rather than following the policy

Agreed to an extent. However employees can obtain info if they go thru the policies

Exactly! Policies are there, but if so many employees are still asking the same questions, it highlights a gap in communication. A little clarity upfront could go a long way in avoiding all this confusion.

Correct , even if there is a policy added/updated people should get mails about it.

Every policy update gets announced in Ultimatix a d ideally you should be logging in to Ultimatix daily for time sheet ...
Many prefer to take shortcuts like direct timesheet link or mobile app though

What about if the associate is forcefully tagged in account where the skills are mismatched. What could be done in such scenario

During your job contract did tcs mentioned that you will be given a particular account or particular work....
Most of time in interview HR ask you can be assigned to any project and any location and everyone says yes I am ok to that ...
Post that this is not a valid concern ...
If you can give me example where tcs promised specific work and then assigned a different work your concerns are valid .
My comment is purely from policy perspective

I needed to shift to another tcs location very badly due to health issues with my parent. My project and manager had no issues with me reporting from anywhere as my team is working from various locations anyway. I have applied for a transfer request last year Nov. They came up with reasons like, you need to complete 2 years. So I went through the hr policy like anyone else where it was mentioned clearly that transfer is possible if it is a medical emergency of self or parents. And so I submitted medical cert. of my parent and after multiple back and forth of enquiring for updates with the request. They told me these documents are not enough, and that they need prescriptions, detailed medical investigation etc. It took them fricking 3-4 months just to tell me this. If they had told me sooner, I could have planned things.
So I've realized policy on paper is finally open to interpretation to whatever hr thinks is agreeable. They have no empathy and don't care about our well-being. If you connections and maintain a good relationship with hr, they get things done faster for you.
So I just wanted to point this out for those who are commenting, isn't everything mentioned in policy hub. Not every case is same, sometimes things are done faster if you have good impression with the higher ups.

All thanks to the bureaucratic layer...

I agree to this that most of the answers that we thrive to seek are asked in the form of repeated questions over here and agree to this as well that Policies will help to resolve most of the questions but maybe some people asks these questions repeatedly because they want to experience the comforts of the responses that we are getting from here and the anonymous responses are more viable than the HR policies that are there in ultimatix. Well, you can say it is a character of perhaps laziness that we might have endured but the quick response over here of a particular issue that we are facing is of much satisfactory to a few than browsing loads of documents to find a resolution. We Indians can also be known as jugad-philic as well.
