Tax regime for 2025

How to decide tax regime for 25 lpa salary considering income tax department will have access to gmail and other apps. Fake donations and hra still make sense?

If you stay with your parents and your parents' income is below 12L, you don't have to fake HRA. I have a rent agreement with my dad, I pay a bank account in his name(I'm the one who uses it though) and file this income in his ITR.

Fake donations is never an option, especially with the IT department cracking down on this these days. Either do it with a complete and valid proof or don't

Go for new regime. Invest the extra amount whatever you're getting in hand I wouldn't advise going for fake donations and all
