Tax deduction

My current package is 8.7 lpa including 5% variable pay. I want to know how much tax will be deducted from my salary and according to you which tax regime should I choose??. I have no investments except I pay LIC every six months once(3k) that's it.

Please help me as I'm completely unware about tax because this is the first time I'm receiving taxable income.
