Tax calculation clarification
Hi all , I joined tcs in Aug mid . From that point am noticing that tax is getting calculated very less when compare with actuals . Do I get surprises when filling tax and on what basis tax is calculated and debited from my salary.

You have to add your previous salary in TCS portal. Else you will get 2 form 16 and enup paying huge tax. You can still file

TCS calculates tax based on projected annual income and declared investments. If your declarations are incomplete, adjustments happen later, potentially causing surprises during filing.
