Tax Brackets- what are your views?

What are your views on the tax brackets? The people who are on the border of the tax bracket can escape by donating the money like for example if a person is earning 13 lakhs, can he just donate 25000 getting an exempt from tax?

At 13L you'd be paying 25k income tax , contribute to ppf/epf and that'd be gone as well

Well that's a way but still when withdrawing that amount ain't we have to pay the tax on that amount??
