Tax base is growing steadily

This year we saw 57 lakh new tax filers, a 21% increase from last year and a huge recovery from the covid years.

Could this mean within the next decade our tax base grows to the extent that we will have better infra development, basically addressing the complaint of people in india that they don’t get much in return for the taxes they pay?
