One of my friend shared their experience about toxic work environment they are facing in Tata AIG Gurgaon office in IT domain where he/she works on the tech side of Tata products and services. There is micro management of every minute which they log on JIRA tickets, and no appreciation of work they do, unwanted intimidation, and humiliating behaviour. Manager literally targets individuals who don’t lick their boots and create a toxic work environment. They will send out mails targeting the employee by nitpicking on work and are overly critical just to pressure employees by generating these mails as proof of performance issues. They will also try to create same environment by forcing others as well to behave same way with that employee. So that so that they can terminate them. This experience is not just one employee but of many others who have already left in the past year due to one mans ego and office politics. I would recommend any developer who receives any offer from Tata AIG Gurgaon office to reconsider before joining because these people will make your life hell. And to those working in Tata AIG IT team start looking for alternative options today itself, you will be next on their target. And those who already know who’s this manager can name him in comments.
