I actually resigned due to work pressure and toxic environment, I thought of asking project release but I know they won’t give so that is the reason I resigned but now Im thinking to ask HR if I can get the release from the project I can take my resignation back. Will it work???

They don't consider it for best of the resources I am sure they won't consider for you too, but you can try
