Taking a Gamble — Might Break My Career
Placement season is on, and I’m taking a bit of a gamble. After giving it a shot, I am leaving it behind for good.
Not many companies come to campus, and I’m not looking to join a core (civil) company, so I’ve been trying off-campus—though not much luck there either. Most companies want an immediate intern, which isn’t an issue, but onsite roles are tricky due to family commitments.
Let’s see where this goes—any grapeviners hiring?
Brief about me:
JioCinema: Interned in product, optimizing CTRs, asset discoverability, and KPI reporting automation for leadership. Led personalization & discovery experiments focused on user adaptation. Brainstormed & tested a new retention metric—got the nickname "Publishing Data Guy."
Early-stage founding hire, working across research, GTM, and product iterations for an EBITDA-positive launch.
Would love to hear if you know of anything!
