If your budget allows it go for an ipad, the stylus and the battery life make up for extra cost to some extent

I would recommend Air. Decent specs and supports the new stylus while being not too expensive as well

If you're into Apple ecosystem then you can consider iPad. I have 9th Gen (I primarily use it as an ebook reader with some casual content watching while having meals), but I would recommend getting a more recent one with beefier processor and more RAM
