Switching to Java from C#

I am senior developer with close to 8 years experience in c# .net. I developed for both windows and web. I am looking for a switch and I see there are less opportunities for backend developer with c# skills compared to java. Should i switch to java programming or continue with c#. Really looking for some guidance and advices. Its helps me a lot. Thanks in advance.
