Switching the career path/role/domain.

Being a graduate in computer applications and working as a Business Analyst in the Supply Chain domain for 2yrs+, how difficult is it to make a switch to the role of a Software Developer/Tester/Programmer or similar tech roles?

What would be a good/recommended way to make the switch possible? What are the essentials for the same?

How difficult depends on your skills. And don't expect to start as a senior dev. Be prepared to work from the bottom

A learner's mindset and ready to unlearn what you have learnt till now will make your journey easier.Think about which technology you wish to work and really enjoy, check for certifications in those areas.Utilize TCS iEvolve to gain basic to intermediate level of expertise.Be prepared to switch the role.Every role be it Developer or Tester or Support is demanding so do not think of role rather think of going beyond your role and titles and complete tasks to the best of your ability.
