Switching jobs in the current market

I have survived this round of layoff in PayPal b it I am pretty sure we are gonna be having another round by year end. In this current scenario I am hearing a lot about google and some specific companies opening positions for software engineering. What should be your recommendation in the current scenario Try to switch companies Or just stay back and be ready for interview prep

Stay back and prep up for interview! FAANG isn’t hiring anytime soon, prolly we will end up seeing more rounds of layoffs in coming months
