Switching job within 6 months of joining
I am not very fond of the culture at my new company and want to switch jobs within 6 months of joining? Is this frowned upon or is it a common occurrence across the industry? I just don’t want this to tarnish my reputation or harm my future prospects. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

OP if possible, firstly you should try to stick around in the same company. Possibly try talking to your boss for change of teams / projects if that works for you.
Also to answer your question, switching < 6 months shouldn't be a problem AS LONG AS you -
- Have a legit reason (culture, salary bump, career change, better future prospects, etc.)
- Have stayed in previous company for a while (typically for more than a year at least). Ignore if this is your first job.
- Have confidence that you'll stay in your next stint for quite a while (again typically for more than a year atleast)
Wishing you the best! Keep growing :)

Thank you for the detailed response.
