Switching job while being an Outlier
Hey, I am working as a research analyst in crypto industry with ctc of 7lpa. I was a medical student who dropped out and now at 23 yrs old I am in first year of Bcom. I got the job based on crypto skill I have. It's been 8 months in the company. In these 8 months I upskilled myself and learned about equity research. Though I learned the skill and I am confident that I can get into equity research, still I have a doubt that most companies would ask me for the degree in any field. If that's the case next swith would take 2.5 years from now and that is a long time. The skill I learned will go wasted for that much time.
I want to know if having skill is a big factor that companies would ignore degree completion.
Are companies actually willing to pay ctc of 12-15 lpa to a skilled without graduation person.
