Switching from Equity Research to IB Realistic?

3 years in ER at a mid-tier firm. No deal experience. Do I need an MBA to break into investment banking, or can certifications like FRM help?

Depends on how old you are. If 25+ get a law degree instead of MBA.

Better still get a foreign wala law degree. IB as a lawyer is more fruitful.
