Switching domain to Power Apps (3 YOE) – Interview calls in 2025 & project survival?

Hi all,

I have around 3 years of experience and I’m planning to switch my domain to Power Apps for my next company change.

What I’m seeing so far: • Interview calls are moderate • Most roles expect Canvas + Model-driven apps • Strong knowledge of Dataverse & Power Automate is expected • Power Apps is no longer treated as a simple low-code skill

Main doubt: If someone switches into Power Apps without real project experience, can they manage in live projects after joining?

Is strong fundamentals + fast learning enough, or is hands-on project experience mandatory?

Would really appreciate inputs from people already working in Power Apps.
