Trending @Cognizant; Switching domain Need suggestion
I am tester in cognizant, 3 years experience, i want to switch domain and move out of testing, I was considering some options.
- Gen AI
- Java backend developer.
I am worried about how i can showcase my 3 yrs experience in development.
Possible if you have already learned and apply a role and prove in interview and get in, then learn from senior developer shadow initial in new engagement. But you have to spend more time and lot of patience to grasp things to master in 2-3 years up. Nothing comes easy.
I am ready to grind, but not sure whether to go for Gen AI or java backend.

Same here, tried to shift domain, currently on bench at end stage, tried applying for opportunities in other domain but that doesn't work, it is not possible i guess
