Switch or M.tech
I need your suggestions! I joined TCS last year in September as an ASE-Trainee at 3.5LPA, this is my first Job. I want to switch for better payout. What should I do? Just prepare for the switch or prepare for Gate 2026.

Short answer: Grind it out do both.
Long answer: Focus on upskilling using TCS Resources for now. Set yourself exactly 60 days for this. At the end of 60 days if you still have doubt. Then start your prep for GATE.
This way you will hold a valid certification or be ready for one.
Take GATE and you would know how well you did. Based on your performance then decide how you wanna go about it. If you feel you havent done a great job at GATE immediately focus on jumping no second thoughts.
That time during Notice Period grind and focus on different tech and try getting certified. So that way incase you do get in for Mtech you will have really good credentials on your CV/Resume. It will help you out in the long run as well.

Thanks for your suggestion, but don't you think that the opportunities are very less for me as we have a 90 day notice period. Most of the companies just reject us due to this long Notice period.
