Switch or Masters
I have 3.7 yrs of total job experience and I have worked in IAM till now for the entire 3.7 yrs (am a campus hire). My fixed is 6lpa now. I am a little interested in Cybersecurity.
Is it a good idea to do some certifications and switch or else go for masters?
Whatever is the suggestion can u also suggest what are the good in-demand certification/ what majors I can select for masters in Cybersecurity.

If by masters you mean MS from outside of India, then definitely that is if you can afford it. Any kind of Masters would be better than what you would get in india . If you are not financially stable and by stable I mean have at the very least 15-20 lakhs saved up in your savings account or somewhere then its a hard no. If you some how didn’t get a job after your masters you are going to need funds to survive off, not to mention those loans you are gonna take for your education
But MS in Cybersecurity in India is not worth it at all?

I’m in EY IAM team and 2 yoe at 5.5 lpa
Still thinking what to do but I’m getting inclined towards getting the certifications and switch as masters in cyber is not worth in india and if you go out risk of recession
