Switch or get promoted
I have 3.4 years experience. Current CTC 4.38 I hardly get 30k a month(insurance covered) Still stuck at 27k
Now for the April 2025 appraisal I am getting promoted. Can I ask them to increment to 8 or 8.5lpa ?will there be a possibility?
Current I work as a developer
Based on experience, it's right to switch now. You can get better hike update 40% or even more. Don't keep waiting

Have you resigned already or got any offer? Are you getting retained? If you have offer, just switch and don't even think twice. Get an even better offer during NP if you can. If discussions are going on for your retention, I would still suggest you to switch as nothing is confirmed about salary hike and you might regret later.
I'm definitely going to do this . I'm not even getting promotion now . They escalated my manager for doing so . Bad news 😔. I will try to switch.
