Trending @Cognizant; Switch!?
I joined CTS in Oct, 2023 with CTC 4.5lpa. My client is awesome, WFH, and I'm a critical resource but the only drawback is that I have a US shift 6:30pm to 4:30am and we are not getting an NSA for the last 2.5 months. My NSA should be between 3k - 3.5k but since I joined CTS I received something between 2.5k or less and due to which I'm very disappointed and not willing to continue with the night shift.
Recently, I got an offer from Accenture with 5.5lpa UK shift but wfo. Please suggest should I switch or not?

Usually payroll departments have night shifts, as far as I've seen. If you have the flexibility to wfh and considering you being a fresher, I suggest you to work here for some more longer, gain experience and switch. Its better to stay here than accenture with 5.5lpa as with 1 lakh difference and WFO, you cannot get Work life balance.

I have an overall 3years of experience in payroll and in CTS 10 months. Additionally, CTS is not giving NSA

Considering NSA is over and above your CTC. I would suggest to continue with CTS. If I had to choose one, I would choose CTS WFH than accenture WFH.
And yeah, if accenture offer is from your base location of your stay, you can go with accenture.

Switch to accenture
Or try for better organisation
But leave CTS

Try for more than 7 LPA and then Leave CTS

Stay at cognizant till you get an promotion then apply outside

switch

Night shift is not good for health. Switch to day shift job.

I am not sure if 1L is a big diff. See if CTS gives better counter offer while negotiating. Since u like the client and wfh project you can also continue in cts. Every service based company is going to be similar.

Switch. Do not do night shift. Not a good for health.
