Swiggy vs Zomato Notifications
Which one prompt would make you order better? Plain and simple or the trendy meme ones. Other option is having ghar ka khana

No, in Android you can disable only those specific notification channels. Swiggy has Marketing and Promotions channel and Zomato has Offers and Promotions as the names.
The difference here isn’t just simple vs quirky. Swiggy’s is offer led and that too a flat offer. Those always get better CTRs over any quirk. It’s just a sad, unrelated misfortune that zomato’s notification is pure cringe.
This one is cringe true; but the offer is mostly because I haven't ordered from it lately. But generally swiggy is simple generally and Zomato is opposite

Why do people keep notifications enabled for apps?
While Zomato's marketing campaign probably gets more eyeballs, for me Swiggy is the go to choice.
Even in my circle, people prefer Swiggy over Zomato.
Probably it has something to do with Swiggy One.
