Trending @Accenture; Suggestions required: Resigning without any offer in hand šŸ¤•

Hi everyone,

I’m currently at a crossroads in my career and considering resigning from my current role without having another offer in hand. It’s a decision I haven’t taken lightly, but I feel it might be necessary for my personal growth and well-being.

I understand the risks and uncertainties involved, and before making a final call, I wanted to reach out to this community to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Have any of you taken a similar step? What advice would you give to someone in this situation? I would love to learn from your journeys and perspectives. šŸ«”šŸ™‚

And May I know how's the Market condition out there now???

Bro, take my advise, utilize all your leaves right now. That will not only extend your tenure at Accenture (increasing your overall experience) but also give you some time to find a job. If you’re still not able to find a job, come back from your leaves and see if unpaid sabbatical is an option. If you still don’t get an offer, you’ll have an option to come back. Don’t leave without an offer.

Am also in the same situation due to work environment everyday it's affecting my mental health. Honestly, even if my manager doesn't bothers me still it makes me feel like he is going to ping me or call me. That's how they made my work life feel even I can handle work pressure but these kind of people makes our routine toxic. Because of this reason everyday am thinking to drop my resignation due to 90NP am just thinking. I can prepare myself to crack atleast 1 interview and get offer but still unable to take that drastic decision.

What is the reason for this??

honestly, the reason i'm considering resigning is because I’ve been feeling quite stuck now. There’s hardly any visible scope for career growth or meaningful learning opportunities, and to add to that, the internal politics have made the work environment quite draining. It’s reached a point where it’s affecting my mental health/peace of mind coz of this I'm unable to concentrate on work as well sometimes.

Any idea on the present Market condition, ??

Ensure you have the demanding skills in market along with 1 year of expenses savings along with you before you take any risk of you are a bachelor else find a job and then resign

If you have some backup for 6 months of expenses or you are single you should go ahead and take the risk. Of course your skills should be up to market standards. It will be worth it .

I would not suggest you to resign without offer or if you feel that you could crack an offer then it's fine

thanks... but I'm feeling stuck here and another reason is due to 90 days NP, the interview isn't getting scheduled

Add-on query related to gratuity along with the resignation process.*

What is the average pay for 4.5 years experience in DevOps domain?? And When does a person become eligible to receive a gratuity amount, and after how many years of service???

Add-on: Just a quick question ā‰ļø, Example if a person has completed 4.6 /4.7 years in an Org and then serves a notice period for next 3 months, in this case total tenure in Org will be 4.9/4.10 yrs.

In this case will a person be eligible for gratuity??

If anyone has any idea on this plz let the community know, it would be really helpful…
