Suggestions or reference would be of great help!!!

One of my friend, basically to say my junior from college joined a company as an intern (unpaid). He wanted to move into Cybersecurity, but not getting any calls wherever he has applied to.

He has completed his Bachelor's in Science, right now he is working as an intern for Governance, Risk and Compliance. Since , it's unpaid he is feeling depressed because he is spending money on travel expenses and sometimes food too.

Any suggestions or ideas where should he start with?
