As per conversation seems yes… but my gut feeling says it is a myth … but they have initiated process for extension with USCIS

Once for 1 year… that was 7..8 years ago… initially it was good… promotion right after 1.5 years joining TCS … followed by good A bands and then this 1 year on-site… but not struck with this H1B

If you are confident on management sending you US in one year, then stay. Else you should look for openings outside of TCS. For 17 yoe, 15.5 is less. You should have been now in minimum of 32LPA
