I am having suicidal thoughts since last few days because I am very upset and demotivated.
I am currently working at TCS and have 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP HANA domain. With around 8 years experience I have very low salary - 14 lpa of which 12 is fixed. I want to make a switch to another company with 100% hike minimum but considering the Iran war and AI trends I feel very worried as will I get the expected hike.
With so much efforts into learning & upskilling, don't want to settle for low offer.
Get out from the mindset of technology and get a problem solving mindset. Any tools can be learnt but you have to put in efforts. Tools and tech keep on evolving, you need to evolve also.
Darwin's theory says survival of the fittest. Fittest isn't the most powerful, but one who is most adaptable to environment and circumstances.

Mai civil engineering graduate TCS se career start kiya , 4 saal raha aur salary was 4.36 LPA . 4 years later my salary is close to 10 times what I had in TCS . Mehnat kar , consistency banaye rakh , and sab hoga. Dekh kismai teko interest hai. Uske according aage badh . Thoda time lagega , but hoga !
Bro thr ppl with worst situation, time heals everything, u will grow eventually might be it's late according to your calculation but u can switch fast after getting out of TCS
