Trending @Infosys; Suggestion to convince the manager for early release

Hi guys,

I have submitted my resignation on 30th may and my new job joining date is 2nd july but my manager is not giving approval for early release.

Actually before resignation I discussed with my manager regarding early release by giving family medical reason that time he told me that submit your resignation and once you complete your kt and handover I will confirm your release date but when I have completed my KT and handover to the other person and now she is able to do work also but now manager is telling that we need more time to check the performance of new person and have to wait 3-4 weeks.

I am not understanding what I can do now ? Please suggest if anyone have a suggestion.
