Suggestion regarding career gap

Good morning friends Due to lot of health issues for my father I am thinking of taking a gap year and looking for opportunities at my native (Coimbatore)

I have a special elder brother similar to autism and my mother being a single person is finding it difficult to manage

Is it advisable to quit without job now?

I am sure there will be no growth here in tcs since no promotion to C2

And in future from next year Cbe set to see more development in IT sector

Prepare the medical documents related to your father and brother's condition and then seek for either transfer or WFH. make good case and then decide what is best possible

Discuss with your manager and move to your hometown. You can just swipe there till you get WFH approval. Prepare the docs and get WFH. Hope everything goes well with you. Just one more advice, if your family is financially enough strong to bear medical expenses, just remember it is a way better idea to drop job and take care of the family, you can get a job whenever you want

See we just have to maintain the wfo index, even if they don't initiate transfer. Just move to coimbatore and start swiping there and that's what I have been doing.
