I don’t remember what I told them earlier. They expected me to join before April 1st, so I need to have my LWD confirmation before the HR round. I requested an extension until April 20th. Now, before attending the HR round, I need early release confirmation from my current organization. I’m confused about whether I should request an early release or not.

I dnt understand the problem statement — the prospective company needs a confirmation on early release before offer release?
And you want to negotiate early release with your current job without offer ? What am I missing ? Sorry 2 am ! I shud sleep

Actually, they want me to join by April 20, while my LWD is May 31. They need confirmation on whether I can join immediately or not. Negotiation is possible, but what I’m wondering is—if I reduce my notice period for one company, I’ll be cutting down almost 45 days. Within that time, I could explore more opportunities. Is it a good decision to shorten my notice period?
