Which companies currently accept a 90-day notice period? Also, is it advisable to resign without having an offer in hand, considering I have 4 years of experience and my tech stack includes Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices

Hey friend been there and so have my peers, just wanted to share a perspective that might help you make a decision.

First off, believe in yourself 4 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices is solid.

The key question is: Are you getting interview calls when you apply?

If you’re not getting calls, it might indicate a skill or profile gap. Focus on upskilling, brushing up DSA, system design basics, or even exploring emerging trends like cloud-native development, Docker/K8s, etc.

But if you are getting interview calls and even clearing them, yet offers aren’t materializing because of your 90-day notice then it’s a strong sign your profile is in demand.

In such a case, resigning can be a smart move. Many companies just don’t wait 90 days unless you're an exceptional fit. Having shorter availability makes you more appealing in the current hiring market.

That said, make sure you have a plan, financial buffer, and upskilling roadmap during your notice period. The job market can be unpredictable but calculated risks often pay off.

Thank you for your response. I’m getting interview calls after applying, but most companies are not proceeding further with my application due to the 90-day notice period. They are generally looking for immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum notice period of 45 days.
