In my opinion, the best blogs on software engineering are 'Joel on Software', 'Coding Horror', and 'A List Apart'. These blogs offer practical insights and are written by industry veterans. However, I strongly believe that blogs alone won't make you a great engineer. You need to get your hands dirty with coding, understand the nuances, and solve real-world problems. Reading is good, but applying what you read is what makes you better.
