I have my wedding coming up so I have a lot of expenses in payments of hotels, flights, jwellery, clothes etc
Please suggest which credit card should I opt for to get maximum benefits?
I'm currently using HDFC Regalia Gold and have a salary of about 2L/month

First find out if the jwerler will accept any card. Generally they charge extra upto 2% for a credit card. If no charge then choose credit card else try to buy without bills to avoid gst. And sometimes small jwerlers will give you a gst bill on the same price of payment is made in cash. My suggestion would be to use those options if possible.
For credit card Amazon card is better than most cards if you are Prime customer. The cashback is minimum 1% to a max of 5%. And that can be used to buy things online.
Try to deal in cash as much as possible to avoid gst and keep the bills. No amount of cashback or card benefits are worth more than avoiding gst.

Hotels and flights - axis atlas (upto 2L a month) Jewellery- amex if accepted directly, or get vouchers at smartbuy/amex gyftr and the likes. No axis- no points on jewllery.
Clothes - use anything. Priority should be amex plat travel (if accepted, however the application is currently paused). 2nd priority- atlas.
Try to maximize smartbuy for now.
