Trending @Cognizant; Sudden Intimation of Project Release
Hi Everyone,
I was in one the project from 2021 and i want intimated on August 28th that i was released from the project due to budget issue and last date is August 28th.
Currently My Manager and PM informed me not to login into client network from Today i.e September 1st.
Can anyone let me know the next things or process.
How can i know that im on bench?
Any help will be veryful for me and appreciated.
When your HM tell you to raise the PEA request, it’s means you are going on bench. Once PEA request approve by HM . You will get 20 days after PEA approval and later bench period will start for next 35 days. No worries if you have good tech stack you will easily get new project within a week.
I was informed on August 28th that 29th is the Release day and asked me not to login to Client network from monday i.e Sep 1st and On Sep 1st Cilent manager confirm that my release is confirm but the thing is MY CTS manager didnt tell me or asked to raise any PEA request.
And one thing yesterday when i check the View assignment i see the Same project code and Name with billability as No but now it is showing as Billability as Yes with Same Project Code and Name
Can anyone suggest what steps can be done?
Check in your view assignments and check if you got access to talent market place. If yes that means you are in bench
Either your assignment with the client has ended and management has decided to release you or that you are in a fixed bid project and they are cutting over-heads to improve their CP - both ways will lead you to the bench in 28 days post which you will have to find a project yourself.
I have connected my Manager has shown a email contains the communication from Cilent that contains these details like this associate will be release from project and last date is 29th August but that email from cilent to CTS PM on August 19th.
Any one have any idea what is the best steps how much time will be taken to get the info that im ok bench?
