Success isn't a solo sport.

Imagine this: you're sitting in a room with a doctor, an artist, a software engineer, and a small-business owner. Sounds like the start of a bad joke, right? But trust me, it’s the secret recipe for success—and a few belly laughs along the way.

When I started surrounding myself with people from diverse professions and financial backgrounds, I realized something magical. My doctor friend taught me the art of “diagnosing problems” (including my overthinking). The artist friend showed me how to turn even the messiest parts of life into something beautiful (read: my kiddos wall scribbles are now modern art). The small-business owner inspired me to negotiate like a pro—even with my kids when they want chocolate/icecream before dinner.

We techies they reminded others that “debugging” isn’t just for code; it’s for life’s endless chaos too!

What I’ve learned is that success isn’t a solo sport. It’s like a potluck—you need everyone to bring their dish to make the feast worth it. Diverse people bring unique flavors to your journey, and together, they help you grow, laugh, and not lose your mind on the tough days.

So, here’s to keeping your circle as colorful and varied as a buffet at a wedding (minus the awkward dance moves). The more diverse your people, the richer your life gets—financially, emotionally, and yes, even in terms of funny stories to share.

Tell me how diverse are you from me?
