What to expect on FTE conversion in INFY
As a subcon im drawing salary without variable but as FTE i will have 15%variable,NO HIKE
My subcon employer also didnt give me hike while hiring -gave False hope that while FTE conversion,I will get good hike.
I felt fallen prey and cheated..
Infy Manager is not giving me a LEG UP...
If I accept FTE offer my inhand will drop by 10-15k,this significantly drops my overall livelihood
You got played. Accepting the FTE offer means a pay cut and no hike. If your livelihood is at stake, think twice. Your manager won't help; it's all on you.
So should i stay as subcon and look outside for FTE role,I joined this July as subcon,how long i can stay as subcon,is it safe, i know inside project they have resource crunch and as Im getting dev tasks assigned n feel some pressure
Try somewhere else. Don't accept the FTE offer. If you can convince the infy manager to give a good hike with the FTE offer, take it. Work for a while & then look elsewhere because you won't receive any hike for next 1-2 cycles.
Never accept the offer if you are subcon. This is clear cut cheating.
