Study Abroad Consultancies Scams or Genuine services ??

Hi,

I have read multiple reviews on reddit which mention that Study Abroad consultancies charge upwards of 50000 INR but offer no value in writing essays. Moreover I am worried that they will push me towards a university that is not my target. I have also heard that soe of the universities they tiep with are tracked by US embassy for fake admission. Are there any reliable study abroad consultancies? How good are their services?
