Stuck with TCS policies

I've got a job offer, but TCS isn't releasing me on time. I'm stuck and not sure what to do. I need release within next week .Has anyone else been in this situation? Any advice on what steps I can take?

My friend faced the similar issue . He stopped going to office his Ultimatix and mail were blocked after some days HR only called and asked to show the new joining letter so they can release early . He showed new offer and got immediate release

Strange for me nice as well that HR is releasing after showing offer letter. Normally current organization's HR don't release you if you want to go other company specially if you got offer letter.
