Stuck in Weekend Shifts
How many of are you doing extra shifts in Saturday and Sunday. I am stuck in a toxic project where I do Weekend shifts for 3 weeks in a month. When I joined this project there was a different management team and there was no weekend shifts mentioned to be done. Slowly they started doing deployments in weekends and in the name of application support now it’s a full time shift or even worse. I need to be available anytime between 9 AM to 9PM in Saturday and Sundays .This was implemented as the previous management is changed to new one and the new ones are lickers for the client. Now they have even convinced the HR department and HR is saying to come to office in weekends also. Feels like my work-life balance is completely gone and it’s getting more toxic day by day staying in this project .I am completely disconnected from the outside, I can’t spend time with my friends and family or even go outing as 3 weeks are gone every month.
Are you getting any 2 day off after weekend?
No, nothing, again I need to work from Monday to Friday as usual
As per policy you are eligible for a full day comp off if you are working more than 4 hours on weekends. Also you can reimburse lunch/dinner upto RS 400. There are many things no one will tell. You have to bring these points in a meeting.

First thing is we are bot given any allowance, secondly i want a life bro not allowance, everyone is getting away from my life eventually thinking i have no life other than sitting in front of laptop. I want to get out of this project, written several mails regarding my release but they are not responding
If this is the case keep everything in writing. You can't be forced to work 7 days a week. That's for sure.
