Stuck in support role

Hi I am working in hcltech from last 3 years as an analyst and stuck in support role. Even when I tried to switch it's getting so hard to switch in support role. I don't know what to do . Any suggestions.

Was in same boat. Worked for 2.6 years in support role of .net then I also got frustrated then I asked manager for release stating that I'll not work in support. Started learning java. And after continuous try to get release, got release and came to bench. And in some time got development project in java. What I did was just taken the step.
