Struggling with Job Search: Feeling Discouraged, Seeking Advice 🙏

I don’t know why this is happening to me. I’ve been reaching out to recruiters and employees on LinkedIn, asking for referrals, but no one responds to my messages.

I recently asked an employee for a referral, and she agreed to provide one. However, five days passed, and I hadn’t received it, so I followed up. She assured me she would proceed, but it’s been two more days, and I still haven’t received any updates.

The same happens with recruiters—they often don’t even see my messages.

I’m actively looking for a 6-month SDE internship or a full-time opportunity. Despite all my efforts, I haven’t received an interview call in the past 6 months.

It’s been really discouraging, and I’m trying to figure out what I might be doing wrong. Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
