Struggling and Lost
Not liking the work I do at TCS.
Want to change my domain but feel like its too late to start from scratch Tried internally to change domain but no luck there
Want to quit TCS due to toxic work culture and pursue MBA but mostly everyone suggested to go for a sabbatical in TCS and then pursue MBA because of job market situation outside. But to apply for sabbatical leave i need to complete 2 years in TCS. I have just completed 1.3 years in TCS and surviving in this toxic project for another six months is also looking difficult.
Have some financial liabilities as well that can be managed but because of it not able to take risk for quitting and doing higher education
Not understanding what to do in this situation.
Patience. First thing is to calm down and get out of this negative state of mind. Assuming you are fresh into TCS, you have a long career ahead, so no need to panic and make choices rooted from a negative state of mind.
Try some meditation, yoga, running, or walking in nature. Remind yourself you are great and will do great and there is nothing to worry about. Everything then onwards is an objective choice and the results are just life. Remember to enjoy every single thing that you do and every moment you live. Don't let others spoil it for you. The only one who can give them power over you, is you.
When you are at peace, your choices will be amazing and so will the results. They may or may not look like it immediately, but be sure they will. And you will have fun. Even in a setup you presently think is toxic. Whether to be there or not is entirely an objective choice that you should make.
