Story Stack a branching storytelling platform
You guys remember the ChatGPT 4o image generation model? In its launch blog post, they highlighted its ability to generate comic panels. I got an idea of a branching storyline platform where users can improve upon other people’s work or add to it. LLMs generate media that can be text, audio, video, games, worlds, etc., and the frontier model always changes rapidly, and people shift to it. While I observed that the most viral medium for AI generated content was images (at that time), I started working on a branching storyline webcomic platform, Story Stack, where users can create branching webcomics and others can contribute to it. This idea is applicable to all media, either AI generated or not; it’s just that it is easier and faster to create AI generated content, but what matters is the quality of the content.
Imagine it as a content layer where webcomics are a type of image content, but it can cover every type of content. LLM rankings will keep changing, and the models will keep improving. Current platforms allow AI generated content but prefer creators who are already famous, so they have left a gap in the market.

While developing Story Stack, I felt like I was more of a Software Architect and Product Manager, as most of the code was generated using Gemini 2.5 Pro and some using ChatGPT and Qwen. Most of the effort was for product development and outlining, architecting, testing, and debugging. Tech stack: PERN.
