Stop Using the phrase Pass Out

Throughout my short career and long academic life, one thing I have observed is that we use the word "pass out" all the time.

"I passed out in 20xx" "I am an ABC pass out" Etc., etc.

For God's sake, in today's world where most of our jobs involve foreign interaction, stop using "pass out."

Passing out means- to lose consciousness

Use the word "graduate" instead. "I am a CS graduate" "I graduated in 20xx," etc.

Just a friendly gyan. Take it or leave it 😄

No.

They need to be understandable of the Indian dialect or should be forgiving for non-native english speakers. What is this elitist slavery take?

"I passed out in 2019, I gave the OA" should be acceptable given how many Indians are used to it, and how many Indians there are.
