Stop doing job for billion dollar MNC, who choose pay shit.

Dear new graduates, stop working for companies who pay shit while they earn in billions. You are way more worthy then this, start setting a bar for yourself like they do. If you don't stop joining these companies they will continue to treat the same to the next generation. Stop working for pennies. You can earn more than you think search for a companies who pay more. Don't sign any kind of bonds. Work hard, earn more. Stop this habit of joining these companies like our elders did.

I worked in a billion dollar profit making company for close to 7 years. While it was chindi pro max, and salary was not on par, I had one thing - excellent culture, i.e. colleagues who don't shit on you and overall nice management. Worked 5-6 hours a day, had good time with family, great insurance coverage, cancer & accident insurance coverage for family, priority access to good hospitals across India. Some work because they need money to have a decent life. Not everyone needs 1cr CTC to have a good life.

People who make more, are also happy and living a decent life have good friends and colleagues. Work not more than 8hrs/day, and these insurance and stuff are also the best they provide. Life gets better if you earn more, there's no novelty in staying poor. I feel our father have changed our future by working hard and we need to do the same for our childrens, and this will happen only if we stand for ourselves.

My father was a farmer, I come from a BPL family. I knew my father spent 12-14 hours a day, 7 days a week and how little time he had for us. He had no other way, I have. Don't preach too much behind one idea. At some point in your life, you would realise greed and need has no upper cap. Quality of life is limitless.

So you want them not to join & stay unemployed till they get a better job? Some people simply don't have the privilege to stay unemployed after college. Joining with whatever offer you have in-hand & then keep upskilling to switch is a better approach in the current scenario IMO.

I don't want them to wait, I am suggesting explore opportunities search for high paying companies atleast a minimum 6lpa atleast.... I can't force them, I am saying enough of this herd mentality, stop choosing the same shitty company. If you are capable of getting a job there, you are also capable of getting atleast 6lpa. I know there will be exception, but why are you fucking joining the mass recruiter. Know your worth. You are much capable of doing things then you imagine. No need to stay unemployed.

Why does this have a "stop being poor" tone to it 😭

FuzzyMuffin
FuzzyMuffin

Because it needs to stop, why everyone is by default choosing to be poor? We are wired that way, we are wired to work for them, while treating ourselves like shit. Why someone should work hard and earn less ?

Okay, it's literally "stop being poor" then. God, I hope there aren't more people like you on this platform.

Bhai whoever pays good salary, this is what I am talking about... instead of just asking me please do a little research, there are a lot of companies far better than this shitty service cartel.

Nagarro, nutanix, Cisco, Intel, Cerner, mysys, NCR, IBM.. give time to search good companies on Google or any job boards... Glassdoor is a good start.

The amount of gatekeeping most of these so called high paying firms do is just mind boggling. Freshers - Must be Tier 1 college, 8 cgpa +, only old NITs/BITS Experienced - Must have worked at FAANG, IIM only MBA, etc etc you get the point

If you can find a company where you are paid your worth, stick to it. Regardless of its size. Make sure the colleagues and boss are supportive and non toxic.
