my biggest worry is that all my friends have told me that Accenture bench is full of people and I will be at risk of layoff at such high package. my TCS project is a multi-year project so I am safe from layoff and my salary is also good.

2 qyestions -

  1. Do you have serious financial dependency for loans, responsibility etc...which will be hampered and create serious trouble if you become jobless?
  2. How old are you?

Join Accenture buddy, and keep learning new skills. Also, in the worst case if you feel like you might be laid off you can take a pay-cut and join some other firm. Even a 10% pay-cut will still be a good hike compared to what you will get at TCS but this will be like the worst case.

Risk is huge for sure, it may be wise to talk to TCS and get your salary revised to higher pay now that you have a offer in hand. If they increase it with good amount you wl be at win win situation
